Company Background:
Founded on the belief that every contracted manufacturer (big or small) deserves quality representation of the products they sell, owner Wendy Frutchey established Sierra West Marketing in July of 2004. Formerly a partner in another decorative plumbing rep agency, with over 19 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry (including showroom management, sales, purchasing, and manufacturers’ representation), Sierra West Marketing works closely with high-end decorative plumbing, hardware showrooms, Interior Designers and Architects in the Northern California, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii territories. Through appropriate product placement, continuous product training and support, Sierra West has developed excellent relationships with both manufacturers and customers. Coverage is always consistent and fiscally beneficial for the manufacturers represented!
Clients will appreciate the well-rounded background of the Sierra West team, which provides for the needs and concerns of manufacturers, the quality of product, product training and customer service issues. With Wendy’s experience in showroom creation and management, they are also able to assist showrooms with the space design of new and exciting displays.
John S. Fitzpatrick (a past employee of Exclusive K & B Marketing) is a great asset to Sierra West Marketing. John with prior experience at a manufacturers rep in the territory already has excellent relationships with current customers.
In 2006, another great asset to the Sierra West Marketing team will be Kathy Ekkelboom. Kathy will be working inside as our customer service representative for both the manufacturers and customers. Kathy looks forward to assisting everyone with their needs, including checking on orders, faxing orders to manufacturers, getting specifications on product, and assisting manufacturers with customer contact, and general follow through.
Sierra West Marketing belongs to the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (as a Charter Member) and the NKBA (Wendy being an active Northern California Chapter Officer for three years). Sierra West also has strong and established links and contacts within the industry.

Creating sinks for over 30 years, Bates & Bates, has developed a variety of sinks in both style and materials. From the Alegre Collection of fine sinks made of alloy metals, created with the sand casting manufacturing
methods to Ceramics in a multitude of colors and
shapes. Along with our Copper Mountain Collections of hand hammered cost effect sinks, our collection of unique Sculptured Metal sinks, in impeccable finishes. We also have natural stone sinks, hand polished in many rich colors and elegant styles. Our newest addition to our line is the “Z Metal” sinks are crafted from non-ferrous metals, bronze, stainless steel, brass and copper.
The metals are combined with high tech polymer binders creating a material that is beautiful, durable and easy to maintain. Spring of 2009, we added to the “Z Metal” collection, and now offer “Z Surfaces”. This creative new product can now be used as islands in kitchens, bathroom vanity tops, tub surrounds, shower walls, and soon shower pans. With endless possibilities in the future.
